老师们，同学们，大家上午好！

Good morning, dear teachers and schoolmates.

本周我们即将迎来学习成果的一次大检阅——期中考试。期中考试就像一把尺子，它可以帮你鉴定半学期以来的学习情况：优异的成绩，激励你再接再厉；不理想的分数，为你敲响警钟，汲取经验教训。

This week we will have the mid-term exam. The exam is just like a ruler. It can tell you something about your studies. If you do well in the exam, you will go on learning hard. If you do badly in the exam, it will remind you to study harder.

面对期中考试，我们如何准备才能把平时的学习成果以最好的水平发挥出来，考出好成绩呢？除了抓紧复习外，还应该注意以下几点：

How to prepare for the exam? We should know these things:

1、要有自信心，考场上不紧张、不畏惧，消除紧张情绪，坚定必胜的信念；

1—Be confident. Don’t be nervous during exams.

2、认真审题，按要求答题。书写要工整，答题要全面，不潦草答题。

2---Do the papers carefully and write beautifully.

3、克服粗心的毛病。粗心大意容易导致不该出错的地方出错，影响成绩，得不偿失。

3----Don’t be careless. It will be bad for your exams.

4、自觉认真检查。这是学习中的一种良好习惯，每个人都要自觉养成并积极行动，它能帮助你纠正错误，提高成绩。

4---Check it out carefully. That is a good habit.

5、考前要保证良好充足的睡眠，为大脑提供充足营养，还要调整好心态，以轻松的情绪迎接考试的到来。

5---Sleep well and have a good mood for the coming exam.
